For its 79th season, the Heritage Chorale presents two classical concerts and our annual Pops concert.
Fall Concert
“Rutter: A 70th Birthday Tribute”
Our birthday tribute to British composer and arranger John Rutter features Mass of the Children
and other Rutter works. We are collaborating with “VOICES Boston”, the wonderful children’s chorus
that often sings with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and are accompanied by professional soloists with an ensemble of brass,
woodwinds, string bass, multiple percussionists and harp.
Pops Concert
“Escaping the Winter Blues”
What do you do when the cold, grey skies and five feet of snow get you down?
Songs about fun winter activities, staying warm by the fire, and escapes to warm sunny climes.
Spring Concert
“Shakespeare & Friends”
The works of Shakespeare have echoed for centuries both onstage and in song.
We present the Bard’s glorious texts in music of many different styles from madrigals
to jazz, as well as songs from the composers of Shakespeare's lifetime.
