There's nothing like sharing the joy of singing.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Now in our 88th season, the Chorale tries to uphold the tradition of choral excellence established so many years ago right here in Framingham. Our typical season includes three concerts, one in the Fall, a Pops concert in the Winter, and a Spring concert. We rehearse weekly, September through May. Under the baton of Music Director Steven Lipsitt, performances include a wide range of choral music \u2014 often with a professional orchestra and soloists.

Qualification for Membership <\/b><\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n

We are only accepting singers who have received the primary series of the Covid-19 vaccine (which became available in 2021). Vaccination status can be demonstrated either with a pharmacy vaccine card or myvax record downloaded from the Department of Health (<\/span>https:\/\/myvaxrecords.mass.gov\/<\/a><\/span><\/strong>). Masking is optional. High quality masks (N95, KN95 or KF94) are recommended. These precautions are meant solely to protect the health of all chorale members and our audiences.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Auditions, conducted by our Music Director in the presence of the Chorale's Section Leaders, President, and Membership Lead, include:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Singing a set of warm-up exercises to provide a sense of your vocal range<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Sight-reading or learning one of the pieces of music already practiced in rehearsal<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
